Aaron Hadlow--Freestyle / Big Air

Aaron HadlowFreestyle / Big Air

Kitesurfing is all about sun-kissed beaches in tropical locations, right? Not if you are a kid from the UK it isn't! Which is why Aaron Hadlow's almost complete domination of the sport is so amazing. Aaron’s first kiting encounter was at age 10, spurred on by his father’s participation in the fledgling sport. Despite the unlikely training ground of England’s south coast, Aaron quickly mastered the skills he needed to compete at the highest level.

Honing those skills with winters spent in South Africa, he’s since taken an astonishing five world titles and continues to set the bar for his competitors with a repertoire of tricks that defines the word ‘encyclopedic’. Aaron has always been sports-mad. He was into football as a child but was fascinated by the possibilities available from the relatively new sport of kitesurfing. His motivation stems from his thirst to learn. After three years of riding from the age of 14, Aaron found himself competing with the best in the business. He won the championship in 2004 aged just 17. He knew to stay at the top he had to continue to innovate and learn new tricks that no one else knew how to do. This kept him at the top for five years on the trot.

After being on tour for seven years, Aaron decided to take some time out to build his brand, image and fan base by releasing videos and doing demos to inspire others to get involved in the sport. After the release of his Aspire film - a collaboration with Andy Gordon - Aaron made a return to competition, once again finding himself on the podium.

Paul Serin--Freestyle / Big Air

Paul SerinFreestyle / Big Air

My dad thaught me how to kite when I was 11 years old, it becomes an addiction really quickly and it’s now my life. My first competition was in 2010 at the European junior Cup where I end up first. After that I was really focusing on competition and I’ve  always wanted to be part of the top riders in the world.

I’m now 6th after this first stop in Egypt and 2 times French Champion.

Looking forward for the next stop of the season ;)
